We just started using Factset and it's actually very good for performance analysis. As far as everything else goes though, Bloomberg is superior. I don't have any experience with Morningstar to give you a relative opinion there.

Say you need to store rent rolls, operating stmts etc... what database does your shop use to store and pull these data to excel? Anybody uses SQL or have expert knowledge in SQL as a result of the job? Also, please let me know the Approx AUM and size of your fund, just trying to get a sense of what the other folks are doing.
