From 10 rejections to 1 dream investment banking internship

Folks in other threads have gotten rejections from Atlanta and Denver. Radio silence for everyone else.

BCG recruiter said they usually take a week after the deadline to review and then send out invite the following week
So we should hear by end of this week. What office was recruiter?

The deadline was the 14th right?
Accelerated process for the Toronto office is complete. Another round in September, but those who applied to the accelerated cannot apply again
I just got 1st Round BCG for NE, put Philly and NY as first picks but don’t know which office interview is for.

Also heard back from BCG NE yesterday, and about 95% certain that's the DC office.

Just heard about BCG SA First Round for NE Office. It's next Wednesday 8/10 for me.

Also heard from friend for the upcoming first round
Anyone know when candidates move on to R2/are rejected for FT in the Chicago office? Ik R1 was split into two sections occurring 8/3 and 8/10. Did mine on 8/3 and hoping for the best.

For full time or Internship? Internship interviews all went out yesterday for NE and full times all had R1 interviews yesterday, expected to hear back either Friday or Monday
How did people feel on the chatbot case? Thought math was tough, not sure how they score things tho

Absolutely bombed the math 😂 then got so nervous with the first few maths that started messing up all the rest

Stay calm. Your interviewer is generally the one who calls you. I've heard it can take anywhere from 1 day to 2 days to 4 days or a week.

Do associates usually reach out before r2 and offer to run a mock with candidates before final rounds? An associate from the office reached out but i wasnt sure if this is something prevalent or not!

When do you think we would hear back
For me should hear by tomorrow or Thursday morning at very latest. Have an exploding offer that comes due this week and they (BCG) said they can make it work within that timeframe. Was told if I make decision rounds they will be held on this Friday (8/12). Hope this helps

What kind of questions did everyone get in R1 Behavioural? I had to reschedule my SA Philly Interview to next week 8/17, and would really appreciate any help or insight.
Just got R2 for great lakes region (chi, det, mpls)

nope. & told I would hear today or Monday morning so guess I’m waiting in anticipation for 3 days

I got a call today saying that they were really behind and will be getting back to us by Friday. They said it does not mean anything - do not think they rejected you yet!! stay hopeful
