What is the base/all-in looking like across London.
Trying to collate more up to date info from an1 to director levels.

What sort of shop is this in terms of size?
Large asset manager with a multi-billion PC strategy 60-70 hours a week
Flatmate made £240k as ASO1 and £280k as ASO2 at one of the larger player
Know Apollo Credit pays c.£290k for ASO1
Whats their background if you dont mind me asking?
M&A Coverage team at GS/MS/JPM

What's Apollo's Credit reputation like? Does your friend like it there?
My friend isn’t at Apollo but was approached for a role there couple years ago (by Dartmouth Partners)

Do these top firms prefer BB LevFin, EB restructuring or coverage?
Depends on strategy. Opportunistic/SS/Distressed prefer rx - levfin guys tend to go for vanilla dl.
How about a background in Debt Advisory? Is it possible to go for private credit and if so, for which strategy?

$150bn-200bn AUM. First real job and went straight into buy side. I didn’t do IB.
