Where are all the associates?

I'm a 10+ yr senior analyst in public HY.  Currently looking for candidates with >1 but < 5 yrs of experience.  The idea being I'm willing to go young and offer someone a fast track in order to find good talent that is excited about what we pay (~ market for our industry niche).  But I'm having a hard time sourcing the right people.  I know Private Credit has hoovered up a ton of bodies, but is nobody willing to leave the sell side for Public HY anymore?  Doesn't seem to reconcile w/ posts I see about people seeking better WLB.

It's funny you say that because as a senior looking to find entry-level roles in HY/LL I'm struggling to find jobs to apply to.

I’m 3.5 year experienced associate in credit and am actually seeking a role like this. Would you be open to a conversation?

Hi,

Are you open to providing more info about the position via PM (or any other medium)? Not sure what kind of experience you are looking for or whether intangibles are more important to you, but I'm a third-year (two-year program, offered to stay on with potential for promotion the following year) at a MM growth buyout shop.

Thanks.
