Applied for the Internship program. Got an email today saying that I would be a better fit for their upcoming graduates program. (I graduate in 2022) email also stated that they had created an application on my behalf and I will hear back from them with next steps in June. Probably just an automated email based on my graduation date.

In a similar situation, can you give some color about what happened after?

Received 2 part case study this week, 2 weeks after submitting questionnaire

congrats, how many interviews did you do? Looks like it varies for each candidate. also do you go to a target/nontarget?

Just submitted the second round case assignment today after submitting the SurveyMonkey questionnaire at the beginning of the month. I am supposed to hear back from recruiters by June 2nd so I will come back with an update then.

If you can’t do a survey that asks you why you’re interested in a firm and what books you have read without prep then I’m not very optimistic about your odds of getting that internship.

Anyone from the June 4 case study deadline receive anything yet? Curious since they mentioned we’d hear back by June 9

Got an offer for London a few weeks ago. Had one interview; very fast process.

got an offer back in april, new york office academy 2023 can try to answer questions! (not an expert or anything but i found a lot of solace in reading whatever information i could about the process)

Does anyone have a rough idea of how many of us there are interning next summer?

Also think it’s a scam as mentioned above - you are going through the summer academy for a shot at a return. If you do return, you’re going through the academy for a shot at getting into a pod after. If you are successful, youre going to get some real culture shock as you enter an actual pod, which will be run by a PM who you may or may not like working with.
So, as a sophomore going through recruiting, it’d be pretty naive to assume the academy is definitely (or even probably) going to put you in your ideal public markets investing seat.

This^

regardless of what people think of pod shops in the industry, p72 academy is respected as the only programme which actually trains kids for this job.
