1st Year Analyst NYC Rent: $1,675

Is $1,675 in rent for a 1st year analyst at an EB too much? Utilities are not included, so it is more like $1,775 with internet and all that.

Low? Jesus..... It is a two bedroom in a nice building that we are turning into three (putting a wall up in the living room). two bathrooms too, perfect location right near my office

I think that's on the middle end. Couple of buddies who moved to NYC are paying 1800/mo each for a pretty nice place on the upper east side(2 bd, 2 bath), and another set of friends paying 3400 in turtle bay/midtown east (2 bd, 1 bath). Neither include utilities I think... I personally would not shell out more than 2000/mo including utilities. Just my $0.02 as a native new yorker
