When does recruiting start for 2018 IBD Summer Associate? I'm a first-year MBA with over 1 year experience at a middle market private equity. Is it too late to start networking?

Not too late, but you should start now. Make sure your story is straight and you can answer why banking before reaching out to anyone. Interviews are December / January for most banks and you just need to network as much as you can leading up to that. The goal is getting an interview, then go from there. Good luck.
