MM, M&A, 80%ish
lincoln?
Similiar but no. From a lot of friends in MM I heard return offer rates were great this year, 75%+

JPM pubfin nyc was pretty bad, 13% return offer rate (1/8)
Jeez are you for real? That’s kind of insane do you know why that happened?
I think current market is just too volatile for any govt entities to issue muni bonds and fund public infra projects, so the group expects lower deal volume - could have over-hired last year since the macro-scene was just different compared to now
This might be an outlier case compared to other offices and groups but pretty intense
Not exactly, but indeed very low. No room.
About 80% @ BB coverage
This is useless without the bank name
Anyone have numbers on any EB’s?

Is this Moelis? Headcount looks right. I was hoping to lateral there, I do not know if this is a good or bad sign.
lol, this is very wrong for it to be Moelis headcount
Probably RBC
With a few exceptions, this is not actually that bad.
Evercore 100%
Not sure where you got this info, heard much lower figures
There’s literally 4 Michigan kids that were in m&a alone that didn’t get returns…
Made it up cause nobody posted. Now we know! Thanks!
Is this M&A?
GS - Corporate Derivatives - 50%
It wasn’t bad. Só many noise makers here. Loads converted
HSBC NYC - 33%
For HSBC, what was their IB return rates? And are return rates higher based on the group? Their DCM is biggest one, so should be higher rates.
del
tmt SF at 50%? Aren't they literally all diversity?

Any insights on GS NYC?
Unless you skip work to go to the Hamptons or get arrested GS is usually super high returns across the board. Yours to loose. Always a few groups with lower returns though.
Which groups tend to return everyone?
All groups typically return all but 2 or so kids per year according to my friend who just interned in a classic group this past summer.
