Accepted a Third Year as an Analyst in IBD in a Different City, Looking for Comparable Relocation Packages

Hi all,

I'm currently a second year analyst in a regional office at an EB. I've been offered a third year and the opportunity to move to NYC. Prior to receiving my offer letter, I wanted to see if anyone had gone through a similar situation and what they were offered in terms of a relocation package. I believe the precedent at my firm is to cover the moving expenses, but I have heard of other places that offer a lump sum of cash. I have already been told that if I hear of stronger packages that can be verified, my bank will take this into consideration and potentially negotiate.

Thank you for all responses!
