Adding Fall 2017 Politics Internship to Resume for SA 2018 Recruiting?

Hi everyone,

I'll be starting a politics and public affairs internship this semester as a junior. My questions is: should I already add this to my resume? A lot of recruiting for SA 2018 positions will be well underway by the beginning of my internship. After getting my resume reviewed by a faculty member, it was described as having too much "politics" on it for a finance resume. We re-worked it, so I'm a little bit hesitant of adding this since it will be the most blatant political role I've held. Despite this, it isn't campaign work or anything. For reference, I've only interned in fall semesters in college. Thank you for the feedback.

Thanks! I'm just a bit worried because without the politics internship, my last job was fall of last year. Then again this one won't be finance, and could crowd it too much.
