Advice on Getting Desired Group
I am currently doing a SA program at a bank in markets/ S&T/ cap markets. All summer analysts will do two rotations through 2 different desks over the summer. I recently found out that I was selected for my second choice desk for the 1st rotation and I will not know my assignment for second half of summer for a while. any advice on what I can do to maximize my chances of getting my desired group next time around. Is networking with the other group and working hard at the current desk to get a good reputation all I can do?
