Advice on prepping for full-time?
Hey everyone,
For background, I’m from a non-target in the western US without prior banking experience (but I had relevant closely related internships). I recently accepted a full-time offer in a NY coverage group at a top 15 bank. I’m feeling a bit intimidated due to my lack of direct IB experience and want to do some prep work to give myself the best chance of hitting the ground running come June. I’m aware that pretty much every large bank puts new analyst through a training program, but still think it would be best to get reps and prepare as much as I can. Any advice on self-study or structured courses (WSP, WSO, TTS)? Or other options you think might be better? Looking to hear all perspectives here.
Also, any general advice is welcomed and appreciated
