Am I doomed if I haven’t get any offer for Summer 2020 by now?

Hi everyone,

I am a junior studying at a semi/non-target school. I had 2 internships at PE space focusing on middle market investment/buyout and 1 internship at a middle market boutique IB (no big names here). I had 2 superday during the fall recruiting and fucked up. But thanks to that, I had time to think and raised my interest in restructuring. Right now I am networking with local boutique (i.e less than 50 people) restructuring shops and trying to get a summer internship for the incoming summer. So far no good news. Am I doomed? Is there a formal timeline for spring recruiting? As far as I know, no RX shops are interesting in recruiting from our school and RX is a tough space to break into. Advice?

Thanks for replying. Should I stick with RX shops or just give a wild search on IB? Or some roles that are related to RX (i.e credit, distressed HF research role)?
