Had 3 analysts in my group alone at Citi leave before their bonuses. There is discussion of a $10K bonus added on for analysts, but that's really insignificant. Especially since Citi is still at 85/90/95 when JPM, CS, etc. have all increased to 100 for first years.

Bonuses were supposed to be given in June but have been pushed out to September (they don't want analysts quitting right before its mandatory to return to office). Which is pretty fucked up to be used to manipulate but alas management doesn't give a fuck and as a result the analysts dont either

 

What's stopping someone from just coasting until Labor Day and then leaving? The culture wont really change that much since MDs and other senior positions are probably still going be in the Hamptons requesting comments get turned at 2AM.
