whats the big deal about being anonymous on this forum by not revealing what school you go to or your name? im new to this forum, and as u can see im far from anonymous... but what are the reasons why people conceal their identity on this forum? if im not saying something that could be held against me, then whats the problem?

For me, I don't want my analyst to see this and recognize its me because I should be working. But Excel makes me sad so I have my firefox an alt-tab away.
This is also one of the few unblocked sites at work. CNN Money and The Onion stop being fun after a while.

On most desktops tons of sites are blocked, but none of the Bloomberg App computers have any sites blocked. But you usually are on a deadline when you need to use one of those.
