Anxiety About Return Offer

I finished up my internship about 2.5 weeks ago and haven't heard back about return offer. The team mentioned to me they should release them about 1-2 weeks after the internship ends but they've been experiencing delays that have pushed decisions back for another week or two. From my talk with an analyst he mentioned, he put in a good word and I most likely will get a return as well as saying an MD is supportive of me getting an offer. Despite this, I still feel really nervous of it and the uncertainty of the wait isn't helping. Any thoughts on how likely I should be getting one.

This happened to me during recruiting 3 years back… I got my offer almost 3 weeks later while in a huge lecture room in class at Berkeley (missed the call twice) lmao so I know the stress you’re going thru. It seems like the analyst got your back. Maybe if you don’t hear anything by Wednesday you should reach out to the analyst personally and see if there are any updates and reaffirm your eagerness to join this firm full time. Good luck!
