Anyone from accounting background stepped into IB with transaction advisory experience
May I know the best possible routes to step into IB with TAS (FDD) background. I worked mostly on buy and sell side deals in private equity space.
If you get your ACA recruit through the ACA specific programs that JPM/Evercore/Rothschild/HL etc offer. Usually you can come in as an Analyst 2 if you recruit and it’s a structured program. If not then then will be significantly harder to move across to a BB/EB but a LMM is still possible

I saw Evercore London office advertised ACA/ACCA intakes on LinkedIn. Others may hire through headhunters.
From what I understood, you need to pass all exams and sometimes with 1 year PQE.
