just curious if anyone here started working in feb/mar rather than the usual main june/july starts..? - how does your firm treat your status - do you have to be a first year analyst for 18 months just so that you are on par with everyone else - bonus issues, do you have to wait 18 months to get bonus? thx
some banks send you to training over the summer while you are working in that situation to keep you on par with the other first years
You would go to training over the summer and you would be a first-year analyst. So yes, you are essentially a first year analyst for 18 months. Yes, you do have to wait 18 months for your bonus.

Depends on how you negotiate this issue.
You will be a first year for 18 months.
Bonus varies. I got a pro-rated bonus when all of the other analysts got theirs, after 5 months.
