just curious if anyone here started working in feb/mar rather than the usual main june/july starts..? - how does your firm treat your status - do you have to be a first year analyst for 18 months just so that you are on par with everyone else - bonus issues, do you have to wait 18 months to get bonus? thx

You would go to training over the summer and you would be a first-year analyst. So yes, you are essentially a first year analyst for 18 months. Yes, you do have to wait 18 months for your bonus.

 

You will be a first year for 18 months.

Bonus varies. I got a pro-rated bonus when all of the other analysts got theirs, after 5 months.
