Applying to SA27 programs months after signing offer?

Have seen several late postings for SA27 programs at good banks. I signed a LMM/MM bank in April and am planning on trying to recruit upmarket (obv focused on getting the RO first) but I am seeing postings for SA27 programs at objectively better banks.

Is it worth it applying/networking given I have an offer already? How should I weigh the risk/reward or this or am I better off FT recruiting later (coming from my bank, the best I'll probably be able to do is land UMM, maybe lower lower BB)
