Are these IB "influencers" legit? (Defiant Gatekeeper)
Obviously theswisschris or julietmackayy/"Day in the life of an investment banker" people are not real but people like rareliquid, jayhoovy, Defiant Gatekeeper seem kind of legit? But also even though Defiant Gatekeeper doesn't reveal his face but I feel like he gives wayyy too much identifying info about himself (like saying he worked at GS during xxxx years) for him to seriously be legit

Information asymmetry is the business model on the buyside. Most of the people you mentioned are monetizing attention in some form, which doesn't disqualify them from being "legit".
With that said, Defiant Gatekeeper is a credible persona for a mid-senior with a reputation to maintain. He's a decade removed from his undergrad days, there are a thousand juniors at GS at any given time, and his war stories run parallel to credible experiences in M&A advisory.
