As a career changer who wants to go into banking, does being in a serious relationship with a banker help or hurt my chances?

What about being married to a banker?

Does it help your chances of getting a position? If so how so?

Does it help that the person is MD or VP?

Thank you guys

Thanks for the answer. What about the flipside. Do you think it would help one a lot having such a close relationship with a banker, especially if they are in a somewhat senior position?
