As a career changer who wants to go into banking, does being in a serious relationship with a banker help or hurt my chances?
What about being married to a banker?
Does it help your chances of getting a position? If so how so?
Does it help that the person is MD or VP?
Thank you guys
You are overthinking this. No one is going to care about your relationship unless one of you reports to the other or you have a "maker/checker" type of roles within the bank. Other than that, who cares?
Thanks for the answer. What about the flipside. Do you think it would help one a lot having such a close relationship with a banker, especially if they are in a somewhat senior position?
