Asking for references from colleagues?
In a process that will likely ask for references from people I work with. Will likely be two or three associates I trust to not out me to the group and seniors.
Assuming I should discuss with them beforehand as a heads up, what's the best way to go about this? Any advice?
Pretty common if you are going buyside. You are probably not the first analyst to do this, just ask an associate you are close with and did quality work for. They get it.
