Asset management summer internship pay?

I currently have a couple interviews with some significant asset management firms, but I was wondering how the pay was. I know that ibanks pay their interns around 1000-1200 prorated; does this hold true for investment management firms as well? if not, then what is the standard pay? furthermore, if i were to take the job i would have to find an apartment in new york for the summer; do they generally give a housing stipend? thanks for the help.
