Associate signing bonus?
Am curious what IBD associates (post MBA) are getting for sign-ons? 40k? 50k? Any negotiating to go higher?

i think it's not that much larger than first-year analysts. i know someone going to lehman who got $10k, so I would assume $20k-30k would be right.
All finance positions post-MBA have a signing bonus of 40K this year. Last year was 30K. It's the same across the board for all positions at all banks and negotiating it is not an option. Only way to get more (or less) is if you work for a small, regional bank (and by regional I mean US or abroad).
