Attending a four year university but taking a class at a community college over the summer?

Hello, I currently attend a non target public university (although there is an i-banking club that seems to place 5+ people a year), and I was wondering if taking a class or two over the summer at a local (back home) community college would look terrible, or if it wouldn't really matter all that much. I am interested in both analyst placement and potentially B-school down the line, so I wouldn't want to do anything that would work against me to get a little bit ahead of classes.
