Bad associate on my team - what do I do?
I’m an analyst at a EB and I’m on a deal with an associate that seems pretty bad so far. I send them work and they take their sweet time checking it, to the point where the VP and up follow up with us. I note in my emails to my associate certain questions that the work depends on and I don’t get answers. I’m nervous that this is making me look bad, since the associate never admits to the team that anything is their fault. I would love to speak directly to the VP but I’m sure that’s not a good look - what do I do?
