Bad to return to freshman internship (Boutique)?

Hey guys,

Current sophomore at a mid-target on the West Coast (think UCLA, USC, Cal, Stanford).

I interned at a boutique investment bank in Los Angeles area for my freshman summer and am thinking of going back for my sophomore summer. Is this a good/bad idea? Had a lot of experience at this bank my freshman summer and confident that I can get more this coming summer. I'm mainly shooting for NYC BB / EB for my junior summer internship and am concerned that returning to a bank in LA may make it seem like I'm not interested in working in New York.

Any advice for my situation? Thanks in advance!

People relatively do not care about freshman internships so having it as a sophomore again will not be a negative at all. It won’t matter you did two summers there
