Bad to return to freshman internship (Boutique)?

Hey guys,

Current sophomore at a mid-target on the West Coast (think UCLA, USC, Cal, Stanford).

I interned at a boutique investment bank in Los Angeles area for my freshman summer and am thinking of going back for my sophomore summer. Is this a good/bad idea? Had a lot of experience at this bank my freshman summer and confident that I can get more this coming summer. I'm mainly shooting for NYC BB / EB for my junior summer internship and am concerned that returning to a bank in LA may make it seem like I'm not interested in working in New York.

Any advice for my situation? Thanks in advance!
