BAML GTS to Leveraged Finance

Hey guys,

First post here.

Just wanted to know if anyone had any advice on how to transition from BAML's GTS group ( Current Internship - SA) to their Leveraged Finance group for full time. I'm currently a rising senior with a previous MM IBD internship as well as a Investment Analyst internship with another MM firm in real estate as well as other finance/sales internships.

I'm aware it may be a stretch but I've studied LevFin pretty diligently & really do enjoy the modeling and steep learning curve around it.

Any advice would be appreciated on how to at least work towards that transition this summer as far as studying & networking.

Don't want to break it to you, but the transition will be very tough, especially given the current situation. Headcount would already be tight across IB.
