Does anyone know if Barclays sponsors F1 international students for the 2018 summer analyst position in NY? I started my application last night and was told that I was ineligible after completing the SEC affiliation questions etc. Was wondering if this was a bug or if it was to do with sponsorship.

Me too. I thought it was just because I applied to Public Finance. I guess they've stopped taking intl students altogether this year?
did you guys get any pre-screening immigration form? I got one and its asking for my OPT/CPT before i even got hired...?
i'm international and i submitted my application without any problems.
but same thing happened with UBS, and when my resume got pushed up by my contact there, i got an auto-ding email rejection
only way to find out is to email HR. probably better that way so we won't have to waste time networking if we're ineligible
UBS and Barclays IBD don’t sponsor..
how do you know barclays doesn't
They are known for not sponsoring except maybe a few h1b1s and tn, or if you’re really really good
i'm canadian so i'm eligible for tn but we'll see haha
