BB Superday...bait-and-switch?

I'm an undergrad student who's looking to break into investment banking. I've done a lot of networking over the past few months and had a first round phone interview with a VP in investment banking at a BB. I was eventually invited to a superday. The odd part is that the email notification said I'd be interviewing for both corporate banking and s&t. Are any of the technicals I've learned for investment banking transferable during that phase of an interview? I don't have time to prepare for two separate divisions and wouldn't know where to begin with CB. This is a real curve ball and I don't know what to do. On a side note, is it common practice to apply for one division, interview with that division, and learn moments before that the superday is for something entirely separate?

If it is corporate banking, and not investment banking, you may want to touch on some credit-specific topics. Understand the 5 C's of credit analysis, what statements are most useful for analyzing credit, potential issues in extending credit, things you may look for outside of the financial statements (good management, no regulatory issues, etc.), current rates and trends, credit trends in your industry, etc.

Sorry for not being clear. I applied for an investment banking position a while back and received an email stating I had a phone interview with a VP in investment banking. At that point, I worked under the assumption that I was working towards an IB internship. When I learned I was selected for a superday, the email stated I would be interviewing for two different roles: corporate banking and S&T. I'm confused because I haven't interacted with anyone in either division. I am positive that corporate banking is distinct from investment banking at the firm.

Okay, understood. I'd first clarify with HR. They'll either realize the mistake or understand that you wanted clarity regarding the situation...Additionally, I've seen this happen from time-to-time with students at non/semi-targets. Some divisions/groups are much more receptive to taking students outside the normal realm of schools whereas others refuse. Not sure if you go to a target school or not but this could also be an explanation.
