Best buy-and-hold funds for IB summer bonus investment?

With summer bonuses around the corner, what are the best funds / investment houses to put some savings in? Vanguard? Fidelity? Any particular funds in general for a buy-and-hold strategy? Looking to open a new savings account (US-based). Quite high risk tolerance.

Check your bank's list of allowed brokerages. Fidelity and Schwab are usually always on the list.

I keep it simple... over the long term S&P 500 outperforms just about everything else. VOO and IVV are dirt cheap ways to invest in that (3bps)

I like Fidelity and I dump everything in VOO and only touch it to add more / reinvest dividends every now and then. Easy, dirt cheap, tends to outperform over the long term. No need to buy expensive, high risk funds when your investment horizon is 40 years
