Best internships for soph summer?

I’m a non diversity rising sophomore at a west coast target and semi target elsewhere (USC/UCLA/Berkeley) and wondering what I should be aiming for my sophomore summer. Currently have a corp dev internship at a small publicly traded company that is expanding so we have a couple ongoing deals so I’m definitely getting good experience. I know I’m not getting a sophomore summer internship at a BB so what should I aim for? Regional IB? Corp Dev? Any internship I have would ideally be paid as I have no familial assistance and need that money to get me through the school year.

Diversity or nepo. If you are neither diversity, nepo, nor super cracked at Harvard/Wharton, just aim for a solid lmm/mm ib or pe role to recruit for junior summer.
