Have an offer for a structured finance origination group where I can choose whether to focus on ABS or CLOs.
Interest is hopefully to pivot into LevFin IB or Private Credit.
Given those goals, would it be an easier transition coming from an ABS group or CLO group? Also, how “easy” would this transition be?

Not sure how easy in absolute terms it would be, but between the two I’d imagine it easier from the CLO desk given the underlying collateral is a levfin product
