Best Supplements To Take In Banking...

What's up guys, just wanted to see what everyone else has been taking to help their cognitive ability and focus on the job. I'm currently taking the normal stuff like protein powder, creatine monohydrate, and caffeine from energy drinks/coffee when I need the extra boost. Has anyone taken anything else like Omega 3s or Nootropics etc. that has helped with focus and energy and things along those lines?

Don't take caffeine it affects your sleep

Protein powder leads to faster aging + weight gain

The benefits you can derive from supplement/nootropic are insignificant compared to sleep + exercise

The psychological aspect is harmful because you start believing you need something in order to function properly, and it will cause you to function worse when you haven't taken it

If you aren't feeling full of energy than you should probably fix that first before you try anything, but by that point you probably won't need it

Totally agree on the caffeine part with tolerance and addiction/not being able to function without, definitely not a good habit and I'm trying to ease off of it. I do disagree on the protein powder part though, I work out 5 times a week and do my best to maintain a respectable physique even though I am an office worker. Supplemented protein powder isn't as ideal as a real source like chicken or steak, but it's better than not using it. Can't say I've looked into the aging aspect of supplemented protein, but for the weight part it's the opposite, protein has a higher thermogenic effect so your body burns more calories breaking it down than fat and carbs. I try not to use it as much, but especially on days where I work late/didn't eat that much, I always try to get some extra protein from a shake.

take whatever you want

but it's really not hard to eat healthy

most protein powder is contaminated with other random shit

amino acid pills seem fine
