I am currently a freshman at a non-target university with a decent alumni presence on wall street. I am about to start networking and I wanted to know the best time of day and day of the week to send out initial emails asking to get on the phone. Also, if I get a response to get on the phone what time of day is best to ask if they can get on a call? How does this change by role in the bank? Some places online say to ask Analysts to get on the phone after 7 pm when their MD's leave. Is that true?
Any and all help would be appreciated as I want to limit how annoying I am with my timing with helpful alumni.
Tuesday 8pm CST has always worked well for me
Ehh I just email them mid day , maybe check up at night and keep emailing until one way or another I get a response
