Best way to learn how to create a DCF?

Hey all, I'm a freshman at a T10 semi-target school entering a stock-pitch competition next month that feeds into our school's top investment club. I want to stand out amongst others by adding a DCF to my pitch for an added layer. What are some recommendations on where I could learn? Thanks!

Any youtube video will do. If you want more academic you can read the Rosenbaum chapter on DCFs. Honestly the best way is to get an upper year's model, understand how everything works, then rebuild from scratch.

FYI - DCF is barebones for a pitch, build a three statement model if you can, or at least have a nice revenue build that isn't just a % growth you hardcode. Best of luck.
