Better path to IB: F500 CVC or Mid-Cap Corp Dev?

Long story short, I'm a first-year MBA at a T25 who struck out during the fall IB recruiting season and still plans to re-recruit for IB during the summer.

Landed 2 summer internship offers thus far, one being a Corporate VC role at an F500 Tech Co. (100B+ mkt cap), the other being a Corp Dev role at a Mid-Cap industrial company (~5B cap), which includes both M&A and venture investment works.

TMT M&A and private placement is what I'm interested in the most, but given last year's lesson (only went for TMT), I'm open to anything M&A and ECM related.

Currently trying to decide which one to take for re-recruiting purposes, and would love to hear everyone's thoughts on it. Thanks!
