When did GS add an IBD group in SLC?
A couple years ago.. from what I know you are basically a remote member of a group located in NY. After 1.5 - 2 years the "top analysts" (from what I heard anywhere from 20 - 30%) are relocated to become on-site workers at the NY office.
Interesting, from the aspect that the firm is willing to create a class system among their employees doing the same job.
