Biopharma Groups in NYC
As far as I know, most healthcare coverage groups (especially biopharma) are based in SF (CVP/EVR/LAZ).
Are there any top biopharma groups in NYC? I know Leerink is one of them
Virtually all the banks that have an SF biopharma presence also have NY. While CVP's SF office is almost all biotech, a lot (if not most) of the coverage still goes through NY. Same goes for GS, MS, and most of the other top players in the industry.

You already mentioned leerink, but they are a great spot if you want to specifically cover biopharma/biotech in NYC. Historically an ECM shop, but they’re expanding more into m&a within the space after hiring Tom Davidson from PJT. I wouldn’t be surprised if you start to see them with more mandates in the coming years. Pay is also very good.
