I'm curious if anyone knows how difficult it is to get into Blackstone straight from undergrad. I've heard before that they typically have 3 or 4 undergrad FT spots. How about internships? How do they work, especially in their Real Estate Group?
Is analyst pay similar to a BB bank?

That is not always true. I know a kid who is ft in the real estate group and he made the same base as everyone else. Generally bonus is too untill you are a few years in, then it increases more drastically than IBD.

Your friend in Blackstone Real Estate - is he an analyst? What does someone need in order to go to a top REPE such as Blackstones group?
I know a first year in their M&A and I think he said he was getting 70K + 10K + Bonus.

blackstone m&a is not very good at all; they had a very very bad year, especially compared to elite boutiques such as greenhill evercore
