Bloomberg summer analytics boot camp, worth it?
Has anybody gone to this boot camp? Is it worth taking a week off my current internship? Also would it look good for junior year banking recruiting season?

Applied a few weeks back and got an interview set up. Any other opinions by those who actually went to the boot camp?
sorry for the bump but is it worth it? it only lasts a week and I guess you learn bloomberg terminal
bump again, I just need some opinions. It's probably not something I would want to do full time, but I get the option for a week should I do it (had two interviews, waiting to hear back)? the only problem I see is if I get a full-time summer internship (which I'm in the process of) what would happen if I accepted but I couldn't go.

Anyone heard of the Bloomberg Summer Analytics Boot Camp?
Just saw it today. I think I'm a year too old.
Yeah, I have a phone interview. Don't know how that's going to be.
yeah i have a phone interview too next week... really don't know how to prepare
Best of luck!
1st or 2nd year university student? well, fiddlesticks...
I have a telephone interview coming up for London. Anyone know if I can expect a typical behavioral / fit interview? Any particularly difficult or technical questions? knabi, how did yours go?
Thanks.
It's a very very basic interview: Got asked: Tell me about yourself? Tell me about your internship. Tell me about your RSO. Any questions?
do you know what will the program be basically about? I know we learn more about Bloomberg, the sales and analytics department, and its products, but specifically??
Basically they said you will learn how to use the Bloomberg terminal
Are you gonna do a 2nd interview? They told me they would give me a 2nd interview, which I think is very weird... Do you have any idea how the 2nd round is gonna be like?
Did you just have your first interview today?
Do you guys know how many rounds there are? Anyone received any offers?
Got it, London offices. Anyone else heard back?
Received an offer for London as well.
You got told on the phone right? have you received the e-mail they said they would send yet?
Yes, was told by phone Friday afternoon and also still waiting for the e-mail!
Anybody heard back from the New York office yet??
I got an offer for the New York office in the beginning of May for the Financial Sales & Analytics department. Does anyone know what type of projects I will be doing? I don't want to be just doing sales and making cold calls.........
Turned down after the second interview went very wrong. Good luck to the rest of ya'll! What are the rest of you guys doing for summer in the US?
Offer London.
Has anyone for London received the actual offer letter yet? I confirmed 2 weeks ago but haven't heard from them since.
Nope, still waiting for mine too.
Same, I was getting worried it was just me.
Guess they are probably still interviewing / screening candidates.
Anyone receive their offer letter for this? (London).
Yeah, dude have you not got yours yet? Mine came sometime last week. Call them up! Deadline to reply to it is 9th
