BNP Paribas?
Can't really find too much except that it doesn't seem to be good, they have a french bias and they have non-existent exits. Any new information on BNP?

Stay far away if you're American.
They have horrible bonus numbers and treat Americans like trash.
The bonus numbers on WSO seem crazy low for NYC (~$25k A1, $30-40k A2, $50-70k As1). Does that sound right? Seems like they wouldn't be able to retain any decent junior employees at those numbers.

on the trading side....BNP has a culture of taking a lot of risk...good place for traders.
Most of the french banks (including BNP) are good for trading, primarily derivatives (SocGen for EqDrv) and exotics pushing into the structured products space. Can't speak to their IB business' comp, but of the french banks specifically, BNP is probably the most active french bank in Structured Finance, LevFin and if I had to assume DCM as well.
Terrible in NA and in the UK - bad pay, dry deal flow, below average bonuses (another story for ECM/levfin)
Among the top banks in Continental Europe (particularly France)
Top people leave for better banks. Personally, got like 30% more at an EB than I'd have had at BNP
