Boston College Junior - Take a chance on me

Hi all,

Currently a rising junior at Boston College. Econ major.

Right now I am interning at a search fund. It has been an eye-opening experience and made me realize I want to do investment banking next Summer. I am fully prepared, except regarding the fact that I have no networked enough at this point compared to my classmates.

I know the timeline has really been moved up recently, at this point I am not sure what banks to focus my energy on. Most likely I need to find out which banks are not "too deep" into the recruiting process yet... which isn't many right?

Are any current bankers here willing to take a chance on a BC kid and take a phone call?

I'm happy to share my resume.

Thank you.

Please post your resume without personal information. People would like to critique it. Boston College is a great school, I know numerous alumni from there. Don't be hard on this person, he or she is new.

If you haven't networked at all at this point you're pretty fucked for SA 2020. That being said, many banks' applications are still open and I would consider reaching out to mm/lmm boutiques for next summer and recruiting at a larger bank for full-time.

Hey,

I'm a recent CSOM admit, and I was wondering would you be comfortable PMing me?

Thanks

come on man...making us BC grads look bad. Why don't you try what the rest of us did - hit the pavement and network your ass off. I graduated CSOM with a 3.2 GPA and zero banking internship experience and managed to make it into BB coverage after a yr in another FO role - and it wasn't because I posted some sorry message on WSO hoping somebody would hand me a highly sought after job on a platter. Get a grip and get to work man.

Hey I am an incoming freshman at BC, I was wondering could you PM me?
