CC Xfer to Non-Target in the Spring - Recruiting timeline

Hey everyone,

I've been working at a subprime auto lender for the last two years while in college, doing every thing from making management reports / Tableau Dashboards for the executives , to general work, they let me switch departments to learn a lot, all in all it was a great experience.

I'm just finishing up my AA at a local community college, and am transferring to the University of Florida in the spring.

I'm trying to get a summer internship at an IB this coming summer, and I am leaving my job later this month to finish up my last semester here and get ready to move.

A few questions, when reaching out for recruiting, should I put my community college on my resume or my school I'm transferring too?

Also, I'm pretty close with the management at my current company, would it be out of place to ask some of them to put some feelers out for me for internships next summer? I don't want to leave on a bad note since I've been treated very well here.

What would you do in my situation? Its odd having a school switch in the middle of the recruiting season.

I would put UF, has a lot more recognition than your CC. I would never ask somewhere I'm leaving to do that for me, not only are you leaving them but you also want them to get you a job? Could be construed as disrespectful.

Hey thanks for your input, yeah I don't want to upset anyone, I do know they don't have a problem as a reference, since the President wrote my college recommendation letter, but I may be overstepping my bounds on that.
