CIBC EIT in NY
Anyone know anything about the team? culture, WLB and exits?
I have an upcoming SD with them so would appreciate if anyone knows anything about their superdays.

Career Resources
When did you hear back for the SD?
CIBC has a friendly culture. EIT in general is a modeling-heavy group and the work is fairly technical relative to some other industry groups. So just by nature of the work, it's a lot of big models in a time crunch. Those skills are quite sought after, everyone I know in Infra has had lots of outreach from recruiters. The culture is a little sweaty but more because of the requirements of the job, not because of bad managers. There's just a lot to do. You'll work hard, you'll learn A LOT and if you leave, it will be because someone offered you more money and/or more sleep.
Is it for FT role or SA?
FT
exits are trash - probably have to lateral to a larger shop
deal flow is weak - have not seen them on much outside of some minor PF deals
What about their EIT group in Houston?
still trash
Thank you intern. Care to elaborate? Genuinely curious.
what does EIT mean?
Energy, Infrastructure, and Transition (EIT)
Curious to hear refreshed view on EIT in USA Today. I hear it’s still sweaty but has panned out well in ytd league tables.
