Does anybody know the format of emails for Citigroup managing directors in IBD?
Is it firstname.lastname@Citi.com ?

It does not matter whether they are MD or VP or analyst. Citi email format is basically what you said.

Was the Barclays contact a Barclays banker, or legacy Lehman? If he was Barclays, it's likely he was let go; if Lehman, it's possible he skipped out early or lost out in the transfer.
As for Citi, don't really have to explain why he might have been let go.
