Cold Email Blocked?
Recently tried sending some cold-emails to people at Lazard MM & Evercore and received a message saying that the message was blocked with a traffic icon. I've never had this experience before. In the past, I would get a message saying "message not delivered" or "address does not exist" etc. Did I use the wrong email format or do certain banks filter out cold emails as spam?
We have spam filters that block people from mass emailing.
Gotcha. How would I get in contact with people from these banks if not by email? Is LinkedIn appropriate or is there a way to get around the spam filter?
It typically happens if you are trying to send too many emails in quick succession or to multiple email addresses. I get one off emails frequently that get around it.
Make sure the subject sounds reasonable and the content of the message is professional. Do not include attachments or links.
