Not sure why you would think this implies layoffs? It’s just a reorganization of leadership reporting and housing of the divisions
They don’t need to at all (especially considering JPMs last year), but they could considering the amount of hiring they did.
Commercial banking especially MMBSI has been growing like crazy and has been on a hiring spree
