Communication - Econ double major

I've been admitted to Northwestern University School of Communication, but I really want to go into the business world (without MBA). I was thinking about double majoring econ and communication studies. I've been told that double majors aren't particularly interesting to employers, but I do want experience in econ classes. -Is it really hard to double major? -Is this double major a good idea for IB, HF, CO, or other (I'm kind of clueless on what I want to do tbh) -Would it be better to major in communication studies and minor in econ? -What can communication studies majors do on Wall Street (if anything?) Thanks in advance!
