Comp at Barclays vs. William Blair

Looking for any insights at comp when you move up the ladder at either place. I believe they are both the same at the Analyst and Associate years, but how do you think comp would change at the VP, Director, MD level? I know WB is all cash vs. deferred at Barclays so that's also something to consider... Thanks!

Blair isn’t 200 average per year as an analyst, unless you’re including an A2A bonus but even then that’s a bit of a stretch

Yup this is correct. Some of the best bumps in analyst/assoc benefits (including comp) were from firms which people ignore here or wave to the side given they aren't as high in prestige.

Blair is not paying 170k base a year to analysts, that number includes regular bonuses.

Base 85k first 6 months

Base 90k middle 12 months

Base 95k last 6 months

Stub bonus 35k first February

Regular Bonus 85k (this is mid bucket which almost everyone gets) second february

Stub bonus 35k July at end of 2 years

Total comes out to 167.5k/yr over the two years
